Meghan Whyte - Professional Bio
Meghan Whyte is a Licensed Esthetician and the proprietor of Island Rose Spa, a boutique spa that specializes in advanced professional skincare techniques, massage and body treatments, and infrared sauna based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. A dream nearly 15 years in the making, Island Rose Spa was founded in 2021 and is fast becoming a community hub for locals, tourists, and out-of-towners alike looking for self-care, natural remedies, and complete relaxation in a professional atmosphere with a personal and compassionate touch.
Entering the field of esthetics in 2005, Meghan’s personal skincare journey led her to become a specialist in treating acne and adult acne. She’s seen what works from firsthand experience and, far too often, what doesn’t: over-the-top promises, fads that come and go, and damaging product lines that strip skin of its natural barriers. Today, Meghan and her team focus on holistic solutions that orient clients toward the total improvement of their skin health, naturally. The results, customers tell her, speak for themselves!
Originally born in Rhode Island, Meghan has lived in Connecticut, Texas, Long Island, Pennsylvania, and Maine before returning to her home state in 1995, where she has resided ever since. An avid traveler, Meghan has visited world-renowned spas to discover the top-of-the-line solutions and to bring cutting-edge spa technologies to her own establishment. All the while, she believes in cultivating a local, non-corporate, community atmosphere that is cozy, friendly, caring, but most of all results-driven.
In addition to being a Licensed Esthetician and small business owner, Meghan is a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a parent, a yoga teacher, and a lover of people and their stories. She remembers what it feels like to have skin that makes you want to hide and be invisible to the world. Today, with over 17 years of professional skincare experience, Meghan and her staff at Island Rose Spa are eager to improve your total skin health and to help you feel confident, alive, and vibrant—on the inside, and out.
